In his remarks, Deputy Dean I FEBI IAIN Bone, Dr. Ismail Keri,S.Ag., M.H., who represented the Dean of FEBI, emphasized the importance of this activity as a momentum to unite steps in formulating a direction for faculty development that is relevant, superior and competitive, but still based on sharia values. "Hopefully through this workshop ideas and strategies will be born that can strengthen academic quality and produce graduates who are not only competent, but also have integrity and noble character," he said.

Chancellor of IAIN Bone, Prof. Dr. H. Syahabuddin,M.Ag., officially opened the activity. In his speech, he expressed his appreciation and thanks to all stakeholders who were present and contributed ideas for the development of the curriculum for this relatively new study program. "The presence of stakeholders is very important in enriching the vision, mission and curriculum of Sharia Business Management so that it is in line with the needs of the world of work and society," he said.

This workshop is a space for strategic dialogue between academics and practitioners in formulating a more contextual direction for sharia business education.
