History

The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) at IAIN Bone is part of an institutional evolution that began with Universitas Islam Raya (1964), later became the Faculty of Sharia of IAIN Alauddin (1966), then the Intermediate Faculty (1982), and finally the State College of Islamic Studies (STAIN) Watampone (1997). After STAIN Watampone was transformed into the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Bone in 2018, FEBI was officially established under this new institution.

History of Establishment:

Establishment of FEBI: Following the transformation into the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Bone in 2018, the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) was established to accommodate academic programs in Islamic economics and business.

Vision

To become a Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business that is adaptive and humanistic, with professional governance, in fostering a religious, innovative, and moderate society.

Mission

  1. To provide high-quality, transformative, and digitally driven education in the field of Islamic Economics and Business that meets stakeholder needs.
  2. To conduct research and community service in the field of Islamic Economics and Business that contributes to addressing social and religious issues.
  3. To develop a modern and humanistic institution with a moderate perspective among all members of the academic community.
  4. To strengthen networks and partnerships in the field of Islamic Economics and Business in support of the Merdeka Belajar – Kampus Merdeka policy.
  5. To implement good and sustainable governance and institutional management in producing high-quality graduates.
