The Sharia Accounting Student Association (HMPS Akuntansi Syariah) of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI), IAIN Bone, organized a Scientific Writing Training program focusing on academic paper writing on Friday and Saturday, October 2–3, 2026. The event was held at 1:30 p.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA) at the FEBI Building Hall of IAIN Bone. It aimed to improve students’ understanding and skills in preparing scientific papers in accordance with established academic standards.
The training was designed to equip students, particularly first-year students, with basic knowledge of proper academic paper writing techniques. These skills are essential for completing university assignments and understanding the structure and conventions of academic writing in higher education.
The event featured Rianto, S.E., M.E., as the speaker, with Agus Setiawan serving as the moderator. Through the presentation, participants received introductory guidance on scientific writing, particularly on how to organize academic papers systematically and follow applicable academic guidelines.
This Scientific Writing Training program represents one of the initiatives undertaken by the Sharia Accounting Student Association to support students’ academic development. Through this activity, students are expected to apply the knowledge they have gained to their academic papers and other coursework while improving the quality of their scientific writing.
