The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) of IAIN Bone participated in the 2026 Introduction to Academic and Student Culture (Pengenalan Budaya Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan/PBAK), held at the Main Hall of IAIN Bone on Friday (September 4, 2026).
As part of the event, FEBI IAIN Bone had the opportunity to introduce the faculty to new students through a faculty introduction session covering an overview of the institution, its profile, as well as its vision and mission.
The session was attended by Vice Dean I of FEBI, Dr. Aksi Hamzah, S.E., M.Si., Vice Dean II of FEBI, Dr. H. Arifin S., M.Ag., Head of the Islamic Economics Study Program, Dr. Sitti Nikmah Marzuki, Head of the Islamic Banking Study Program, Muh. Hasbi Ash. Shiddiq, M.E., Head of the Islamic Accounting Study Program, Muh. Arafah, M.E., and Head of the Islamic Business Management Study Program, Dr. Ida Farida, S.E., M.M.
Through the introduction session, new students were introduced more closely to FEBI IAIN Bone and its study programs, namely the Islamic Economics, Islamic Banking, Islamic Accounting, and Islamic Business Management Study Programs.
The faculty introduction was an important part of the 2026 PBAK series, providing new students with an overview of the academic environment, institutional structure, and study programs that will become part of their educational journey at IAIN Bone.
In addition to introducing the faculty profile, the session also provided an opportunity for FEBI to present its vision and mission to new students. Through this introduction, students are expected to understand the identity, development direction, and values that serve as the foundation for FEBI in providing education in the field of Islamic economics and business.
The presence of the faculty leadership and heads of the study programs also demonstrated FEBI IAIN Bone's commitment to welcoming new students and building a closer relationship with them from the beginning of their academic journey.
Through PBAK 2026, FEBI IAIN Bone hopes that new students will become more familiar with their academic environment, understand their chosen study programs, and begin their university journey with enthusiasm and readiness to become part of the FEBI IAIN Bone community.
