FEBI IAIN Bone Holds the Opening of the Munaqasyah Session III Wave for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) IAIN Bone heldOpening of the Munaqasyah Session III Wave for the 2025/2026 Academic Yearon Wednesday (19/8/2026). The activity took place in the 2nd Floor FEBI Hall and was attended by44 students participated in the Munaqasyah session.

The opening activity was officially opened byDean FEBI IAIN Bone, Dr. H. Ahmad Abdul Mutalib, Lc.,M.Ag.This opening marks the start of a series of munaqasyah sessions for students who have fulfilled the requirements to account for the results of their research and final assignments before the examining team.

In his direction, the Dean of FEBI encouraged students to participate in the entire series of trials as well as possible. The Munaqasyah session is not only the final stage in completing studies, but also a space for students to take responsibility for the academic process they have gone through while writing their thesis.

Meanwhile,Deputy Dean I FEBIadvise participants to always pay attentionetiquette and attitude when dealing with lecturers, both in the trial process and in academic life in general. According to him, academic ability needs to go hand in hand with respect, politeness and ethics towards lecturers.

On this occasion, Deputy Dean I also delivered a message to students regarding the thesis preparation process. He reminded that a scientific work is not solely judged by its technical perfection, but also by the student's thought process and struggle in producing the work.

"In this day and age, a thesis with typos is not just a sign of lack of accuracy, but proof that behind it there is a student who is thinking and processing."

This message is a reminder for students that a thesis is the result of an academic journey that involves the process of reading, researching, analyzing, writing, receiving input, and making various improvements.

By carrying out this opening, as many as 44 students participating in the Munaqasyah Session III Wave for the 2025/2026 Academic Year will then take part in the trial stages according to the predetermined schedule. FEBI IAIN Bone hopes that all participants can take part in the munaqasyah process with full readiness, uphold academic etiquette, and be able to properly account for the results of their respective research.
