Watampone, 4 November 2025— Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) IAIN Bone held a Guest Lecture in collaboration with the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) Representative of South Sulawesi. This activity took place on Tuesday, November 4 2025 in the FEBI Hall, Campus 2 IAIN Bone.
Mrs. Dahliana Tanur, S.Kom., M.Ak, as Plt. The Head of the South Sulawesi Representative Office of the KPPU, was present as the first speaker to deliver material related to the duties and functions of the KPPU in creating a healthy and fair business competition climate in Indonesia, especially in the South Sulawesi region.
The second speaker was Mr Charisma Desta Ardiansyah, S.Sos, Plt. Head of Regional Office VI KPPU Makassar. In his presentation, he discussed handling sanctions against business actors who violate business competition rules, as well as the importance of assessing agreements or business activities so that they remain compliant with the Business Competition Law.
Dean of FEBI IAIN Bone, Prof. Dr. Abdulahanaa, S.Ag., M.H.I., in his speech said that this guest lecture was very relevant to the economic field and was a concrete manifestation of the implementation of cooperation between FEBI IAIN Bone and KPPU. "Activities like this not only broaden students' insight, but also open up opportunities for synergy with other activities with KPPU in the future," he said.
The activity closed with an interactive discussion session, where students enthusiastically asked questions related to business competition practices in the digital era.
