The celebration of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia took place lively at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) IAIN Bone. A series of activities held sinceAugust 14 to 17, 2026The event was filled with various competitions involving the IAIN Bone academic community in an atmosphere full of togetherness, fun and sportsmanship.
This year,The IAIN Bone Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business was entrusted as the organizing committeea series of vibrant independence activities. The committee is headed byDean FEBI IAIN Bone, Dr. H. Ahmad Abdul Mutalib, Lc.,M.Ag., together with the committee members who helped prepare and make the entire series of activities a success.
Various competitions were held during the festive series of independence, presenting various challenges that tested creativity, dexterity, teamwork and cooperation between participants. Not only serving as a committee, the FEBI extended family also participates in various competitions.
This participation produced encouraging results. FEBI succeeded in achieving1st Place in the Fried Rice Cooking Competition with the Independence Theme, 1st Place in the Water Circle Relay, and 1st Place in Men's Karaoke.
In addition, FEBI achieved2nd Place in Bean Chopsticks RelayAnd2nd Place in Gymball Volleyball. Meanwhile,3rd placeachieved in the competitionYel-Yel, Inserting Nails with the Help of a Cell Phone, Provoking Emotions/Eating Crackers, and Marching.
The peak of the commemoration took place onAugust 17, 2026through implementationcommemoration ceremony of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia. After the ceremony, the series of activities continued withannouncement of the winners of the competition as well as the presentation of awardsto the champions.
This momentum was the closing of the lively series of independence as well as a form of appreciation for the enthusiasm and participation of all participants. For FEBI, the success of winning a number of champions is a proud achievement and also complements FEBI's role as an event organizing committee.
Through this series of activities, FEBI IAIN Bone helps interpret independence through a spirit of togetherness, cohesiveness, creativity and sportsmanship. The splendor of independence is not only a competition event, but also a momentum to strengthen relationships and build togetherness within the IAIN Bone environment.
