Watampone – In the morning assembly held on Monday, August 4 2025, Prof. Dr. Abdulahanaa, S.Ag., M.HI., as the supervisor of the meeting, conveyed an important message regarding the academic culture that must be built from an early age by students. The morning assembly was held in the courtyard of Campus II of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) IAIN Bone and was attended by the entire academic community.
In his direction, Prof. Abdulahanaa emphasized that students must record what they learn. He said that one day, note-taking will be an important tool for recognizing old patterns that may repeat themselves in the future. Therefore, students must get used to writing and reading through books as part of a literacy-based learning process.
"One day we will note down old patterns. So from now on, get into the habit of taking notes. Read with books, book-based. Make it mandatory for yourself to have books. This is part of building a strong academic culture," he stressed in his speech.
This morning's assembly was an important moment to remind students of their role as academic people who not only listen, but also actively take notes and review learning materials independently. Prof. Abdulahanaa hopes that, through the habit of taking notes and book-based reading, FEBI students can improve their analytical power, sharpness of thinking and discipline in studying.
This morning's roll call took place in an orderly manner and was full of enthusiasm to carry out academic activities with more focus and responsibility according to their respective duties and functions.
