The Islamic Economics Study Program Student Association (HMPS) of the State Islamic Religious Institute (IAIN) Bone for the 2026/2027 period is holding activitiesBiru Seriah (Fun Talk About Sharia Economics)with a theme"Halal Investment in the Modern Era"onMonday, July 6, 2026. This activity was carried out online via Google Meet and was attended by students of the Sharia Economics Study Program and students of the Sharia Business Management Study Program.
PresentingMuh. Hasbi Ash, Siddiq, M.E., lecturer at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) IAIN Bone, as resource person, this activity was guided byIsmail Marzuki, Staff of the Head of the Non-Academic Subdivision of HMPS Sharia Economics for the 2026/2027 Period, as moderator.
In his presentation, Muh. Hasbi Ash, Siddiq, M.E. explains various basic concepts of halal investment, sharia principles in investing, as well as investment opportunities and challenges in the modern era. It is hoped that the material presented will be a provision for students to understand the importance of choosing investment instruments that are in accordance with sharia values while increasing sharia financial literacy.
The activity took place smoothly and interactively. The participants showed high enthusiasm by following the discussion and taking advantage of the question and answer session to deepen their understanding of halal investment.
Through the implementation of Biru Seriah, HMPS Sharia Economics Study Program IAIN Bone hopes to continue to provide an educational and inspiring discussion space for students. This activity is also part of HMPS' efforts to increase scientific insight, encourage academic culture, and strengthen students' understanding of actual issues in the fields of sharia economics and finance.
